Card for Tuesday, August 26, 2014

A variety of different people come into our lives to help our soul expand and evolve to our highest potential…these people are our soul mates.

There are also those special people that we choose to journey with for a life time which we call soul mates or life partners. This card will help you to realize the aspects of what makes a soul relationship healthy, mature, compatible and loving. Finding your soul mate or life mate is only as easy or hard, as finding your soul! As you understand your soul’s needs and desires, you will naturally attract a suitable mate.

Soul mates will be on a path that is complimentary with one another. Their dreams, vision, spiritual beliefs and goals will be compatible. When they are dating, they will ask the other person questions to learn about their mind, heart and soul. They will find out what they do, how they feel, what's going on in their heads, ask about their families, their work, beliefs, values, dreams, goals, etc. Soul mates would be comfortable and happy with the answer to the question; “What are the five most important things in my mate’s life?” Soul mates will take the time to get to know one another. Soul mates actually like each other - not just love and want one another. Many times people who are infatuated, or in love with love, do not even LIKE the person they've attached their ‘in love’ feelings to. Mature people don't live in a romantic fantasy.

Soul mates are comfortable with the other person’s values and beliefs, and they like the way the other person looks, feels, smells, sounds and tastes. They aren’t disgusted or embarrassed by each other’s actions or how their mate relates to others. There are no ominous feelings of dread lingering in their minds about one another.

Soul mates are equals. They don’t consider themselves better or worse than the one they love. They have equal admiration, respect and care for one another, and they respect each other’s gifts, personality and lifestyle.

Soul mates are in tune with their own soul and won’t lose their identity. They won’t try to be like the other person or try to change their partner. Soul mates will be able to see the beautiful essence within one another, along with their imperfections. They will feel safe and free to be all that they are. They feel safe together, and they will both feel supported and valued. Soul mates feel safe to open up and reveal their true self; what they think, believe and feel, and they let the other do the same. They each feel heard, understood and accepted. They share their secrets, fears, feelings and thoughts with one another without the fear of being judged. They both listen to each other with an open heart, and have a desire to understand and learn from each other. They both have a feeling of ‘being at home’ with one another. They each have the freedom and comfort to really show all their weakness with each other, and they are both willing to support each other’s growth. Soul mates do not fear change, growth or aging. They welcome change as an opportunity to achieve greater intimacy, and to grow together in life - not apart. They will still love each other even if they lost their possessions or their looks!

Soul mates spend a lot of time together because they both really enjoy it, not because they don’t like being alone. Yet they have other friends and interests, and they are both fine when they are not together. Whether they are together or apart, they experience peace and joy in their soul. True love is based upon maturity, and a balance of dependence and independence. They are able to depend upon the other when appropriate and they can also stand on their own.

Soul mates are obvious to other people. Friends and family think you are a good match! They will also like each other’s friends …they fit in with the other mate’s friends.

Soul mates feel supported in pursuing what brings them joy, and their mate can feel joy for their joy. The two of them laugh and play together, and enjoy each other’s sense of humor. In the midst of difficulties, they help each other to lighten up with humor and playfulness. Soul mates enjoy being kind to one another, rather than having their own way or being right. They well up with warmth and fullness of heart for each other and express it with affection. The sexual relationship is warm and caring, and they can talk with each other about what brings them pleasure. Sex becomes better with each year together - as trust, familiarity and fondness deepens. True love arrives after many months or years of commitment and challenges, at which the needs of the other become as important as the needs of the self.

Together, soul mates will make it in the long run because they are both committed to the idea of being a team. They see themselves stronger together, than apart. They will endure any hardships or challenges. Their love is solid even in very difficult times. They feel safe and secure with each other, and they trust one another. They each know that they can mess up, fail, disappoint and hurt the other – and the love will still be there. Soul mates have compatible ways to resolve conflict, and they both can easily let go of any anger or hurt and move quickly back into kindness and affection.

It is also valuable to know that we are attracted to and love people who we don’t particularly admire. These souls are our greatest teachers who can help our souls to grow. If you realize that your relationship or potential relationship isn’t up to par, reflect on your own characteristics and qualities first before tossing the relationship aside. Do you admire all aspects of your being? If you and your mate are dedicated to growth, and both of your strengths and weakness score equally, then the relationship has the potential to be a good fit.

A way to gain more insight into choosing your life mate is to ask these two questions.

1. If we were to have a son/daughter would I want him/her to grow to be just like my mate?

2. If we had a son/daughter would I want him/her to grow up to be just like me?
If you answered no on the first question but answered yes on the second question, he/she is probably not a healthy choice for a mate. If you answered no on the first and second question, you may have more growing to do before you are really able to have a fulfilling and expansive relationship. If you answered yes to both, you are probably ready for a healthy and loving journey together.

You have chosen the soul mate card so you can take an in-depth look into what a soul mate relationship looks like. Choose with an open and wise heart!

Note: you can apply this card in choosing your soul sisters and brothers too, and you can also use it to help you become aware of what you can change in order to become a worthy mate!

Card for Monday, August 25, 2014

The card Freedom speaks of release.

It is a time of unrestricted dreams and opportunities.

You are filled with ease and joy, and you have the freedom to create a life designed by your hearts longings!

You see freedom as the truth that all of life is a blessing or an opportunity for transformation.

You no longer feel trapped, stressed, worried, miserable or burdened. You are free! You accept yourself, your situation and everyone involved.

You feel your emotions fully, and you open up to explore new ideas, different choices, perspectives, attitudes and new ways of thinking.

You allow yourself to experience freedom, and give others their freedom. You do not disconnect from others with defiant independence, but instead you create the joy of freedom in your soul that attracts other ‘light-filled’ mates to you.

Your freedom is based on truth - truth that separates illusion from reality. The truth can be uncomfortable because it cuts through denial, but it will save you from further disillusionment and pain in the future. At the highest level - anything that is not joyful is not the truth. Truth frees you from the dark and brings in light and true fulfillment.

The card Freedom says that your difficulties are all falling away so you can experience happiness, clarity and growth. Feel the freedom of living your life the way you really want to and to share it with the people you truly feel joyful to be with!

Cards for the weekend August 22-24, 2014

“Morning Affirmations” - “Say positive affirmations each morning to open the gates of manifestation.”

“Balanced Friendships” - Gerbera/African Daisy: Your friendships work best when there’s an equal share of giving and receiving.

Nice cards for the weekend.  Time to take your life into your hands.  Make sure you have equal give and take in all of your relationships.  Now as a mother, I know that's kind of hard to do with the kids, but you can still have them help you out in different way.  I have my kids work on folding or picking up toys etc.  To me every little bit helps.

Now as far as the affirmations... this is different than gratitudes.  Affirmations are statements to yourself on how you want your life to be.  I am wealthy.  I am healthy.  I am happy.  I am vibrant.  I know what I want and get it.

What ever you do, don't put "negatives" or "not sure" statements.  For example, I am out of debt versus I am not in debt.  Our brain works weird in that it doesn't recognize that Not.. so if you took that out.. you're basically saying I am in debt.  So make sure you are doing positive statements.

I'm working on some little subliminal videos that hopefully will be done soon so I can share with people.  I use a lot of positive statements .. not only in the images, but in the subliminal part as well.

So make use of this energy coming to us.  For me I felt it last night and it feels like it probably will be here until Tues.  To me it's an energy that will shake things up.  Just make sure it's a good shake and not bad :D

Cards for Thursday, August 21, 2014

“Inner Child” - Just as you take care of small children by listening to them, playing with them, and hugging them, so does your inner child yearn for nurturing. This card also asks you to have patience with yourself, as you are growing and maturing at your own pace.

“New Beginnings” - Banksia: Take this as an opportunity to rise from the ashes stronger and more determined.

OK it looks like they're saying it's time to make a new break and add fun to your life.  What ever it may be. :)

For me, I just got a new workout series on DVD and it's all about toning while dancing.  I'm pretty sure my back won't take it very well, I figured I love to dance and so I'm going to give this a try and see how it helps.  I may even get my eldest to do it with me.  Dancing for me is fun and I don't do it as often as I should.

So how can you start something in your life that will be fun but also be good for you and your family?  Or maybe it's the start of school that is going to put a hop in your step :D

Cards for Wednesday, August 20, 2014

“Peace of Mind” - Make peacefulness your highest priority. Commit to taking steps to ensure peace of mind, and take those steps without delay.

“Ten of Fire” - You’re working too hard and have put in too many hours. There’s a need to balance the professional and personal sides of your life. You’re trying to do too much. A good first step is to be willing to accept assistance from others.

Again, drawn to pull two cards for today.  Peace and doing too much.  So they're basically telling us that we need to slow down, let some things go and work on bringing peace to our mind and world.

This is sooo me right now.  I'm busy at work trying to finish a course.  My house is a pit and the basement a shambles from the mold remediation.  My back is hurting so I can't do things and I seem to go in these circles.

So I guess I need to really take a breath.  Work on tackling one thing at a time and letting go of the others.  How about you?  You ready to find some peace of mind?

Cards for Tuesday, August 19, 2014

“Clairaudience” - Archangel Zadkiel: “Notice the loving guidance you hear inside your mind, or from other people.”

“Power” - As a spiritual being, you have unlimited power at your command. This card represents inner strength, willpower, courage, compassion, generosity, and love.

I was drawn to pull two cards for today.  Both very empowering cards.  The first is the Clairaudience.  All this means is "hearing".  Whether it be that voice inside of your or a message you hear on the radio/TV or even a song that may tell you a message that's going on with you.  I've had this happen a lot.  Of course unless you're looking for it, you may miss it completely. But if that message is important for you to hear the angels will make sure it will get across to you.  So this card is basically telling you to be more aware about the messages they're trying to tell you.  Keep an open mind for it, because I know from personal experience, what message we get about a situation may not be the one we were hoping for.  We just have to realize we don't see the whole picture and they do, so take their guidance as what's it's meant to be.

The second card is POWER.  This card is here to show you that you have the strength to get through a situation and you can pull it up at anytime.  The other thing it tells us is that because of your strength of surviving things you are showing others how to do that as well.  This is a very loving card as well.  To embrace that which is natural to you and show others how to be strong when they may not know how.  Breaking a cycle and taking a stand.  You will get through this and survive.

Card for Monday, August 18, 2014

“Balance Work, Rest and Play” - Yellow Rose: It’s important for you to have fun along with fulfilling your responsibilities.

First off, I'm not a "rose" person per se, but out of all of them, yellow roses are my favorite.  Maybe I should get some to have around to help me perk up.

I'm am terrible at this card.  It only gets worse when I haven't been sleeping.  Which I haven't been lately due to my back.  It's better than it was last year, but when I am sleeping, I'm sleeping very hard and I end up sleeping funny or on my arm or something and then my body seems to know I should turn, but it's not "automatic" anymore, where I lightly wake up to do it.   Now it's PAIN when I try and it wakes me up.  Doing that multiple times in the night has not helped.  So the "rest" of this card has not been happening, no matter what I'd like.  Of course that then merges into the "play" aspect as well.  If I'm very tired, I don't play, I do what needs to be done (work) first.  Because it has to get done for the kids.  I wish I had the energy to work on the play aspect.  Anyone want to come work on my house so I can? :D

So this card for me, is so on point.  Going to figure out how to get some sleep so I can not only do the work that needs to be done, but also play.

How does this card fit you lately?  Pretty much the same?

Card for the weekend August 15-17, 2014

"Nine of Earth” - Your self-reliance, wisdom, and restraint have paid off. You’ve done excellent work and prepared for this time in your life. This has provided you with the opportunity to take it easy and enjoy some luxuries.

Love this card.  Look at the images.  They're vibrant and full of color.  The Angel here is just leisurely walking around.  It's time after all your hard work to take in some fun for a change.  If nature isn't your thing, fine, but do something for you this weekend.  You need to be able to rest and rejuvenate.

Me, I still have cleaning to do and the normal laundry.  But I am getting a massage.  After the past couple of weeks I've had, I can really use it too.  I plan on being much more relaxed after that.  Maybe even making pizza with my daughter.  Watching a movie as the family.

Lately, I've been doing healing mandalas and it's been so much fun.  Doing something creative relaxes me.   I like helping people as well.  Here are a couple that I've done:

There's just something about creating these things that makes me happy.  I'm offering to create one for a person on fiverr.  Here's the link  http://www.fiverr.com/kerina313/create-a-healing-mandala-specific-to-you?funnel=201408151219240298467240

So what are your plans for the weekend?  Hopefully some fun incorporated in there :)

Card for Thursday, August 14, 2014

“Authority” - This card represents the masculine qualities of leadership, logic, strength, wisdom, and power. When this card emerges, it acts as a teaching tool; and in so doing, it is encouraging you to develop or reignite these qualities and tap into the masculine aspects of yourself.

Is it time for you to start taking the lead on something?  Look at his picture, this person just has that "air" of knowing what it is he's supposed to do.   But he isn't a bully.  He looks like a protector.  How can this image and the message for today fit into your life?

Maybe it's a matter of you showing the good leader qualities that you like to see and emulate them yourself.  Or maybe someone with that kind of personality is coming into your life to help.  All good things to do or have in my opinion.

Card for Wednesday, August 13, 2014

“The Empress” - Your creativity and hard work are bringing you great rewards, according to this card. You have the Midas touch right now, so anything you nurture and give your loving attention to will flourish. Marriage, children, and issues involving motherhood and creativity are positively affected now. Whether you’re trying to give birth to a child, nurture life into plants or pets, or help a new project or business to grow, your creative endeavors will be successful.

Great card for the middle of the week.  Now don't take the Lavish Abundance as this is going to be money -- it might, but it also may just mean you're at peace and  you're enjoying what you have so you feel abundant in your life.

This is the "ultimate" mother card.  Whether that's you or someone you know -- they are the best at mothering people.  Making them feel appreciated.  So, do something like that for yourself or them to let them or you know you're appreciated.

This is also the birth of a new project.  It will come to fruition and make you very proud of what you've done.

So take the day, be appreciative of what you have and enjoy the thing you're trying to have come alive!

Card for Tuesday, August 12, 2014

“Golden Palace” - The Golden Palace card represents good fortune, ambitions fulfilled, wealth, and prosperity. It may also indicate emotional fulfillment, as perhaps you’re entering a time of happiness that’s long overdue. The message here is that self-worth isn’t measured by what you have, no matter how abundant your life is. Instead, it comes from what you are, how authentically you’re living your life, and how much love you’re willing to share.

Interesting card today.  To me this card is all about gratitude.  To be grateful for all the things you have in your life.  Friends, family, having a job, breathing.. it's all about being happy where you are with what you already have.  It's not about envying what someone else has.  The grass is always greener ... ahh NO.  It may appear that way, but there maybe other things that will cause you issue.

I find myself trying to put myself in a good mindset when I get up and when I go to bed.  So like this morning, I was grateful for hubby stopping in to wake me up -- apparently I slept through my alarm.  I was grateful for the warm water for my shower.  Grateful that I was able to get out the door without much hassle.. grateful that it was raining and I didn't get into an accident.  Grateful I have a job to go to.

Then at night, I work on other things to be grateful for.  I also try and relax before bed.  Whether that is reading or listening to a meditation.  Did I mention that meditations make me fall asleep? :D

So take a look at your current life and don't worry about what you don't have.  Start concentrating on what you do have and see how that changes you life.

Card for Monday, August 11, 2014

“Seven of Fire” - Stand your ground and don’t back down. You might need to defend your beliefs or decisions, and you will be successful. It’s important to assert yourself and go for what you want. There’s strength in adversity, and you’ve got what it takes. Stand up for your convictions!

You might not be perfect, but one thing is that you know who you are and what you believe in.  So don't let anyone take that from you.  I speak from experience.  I know the damage that can happen by not being yourself and allowing someone else to control your actions.  No one can do that unless you allow them to.  I also know how hard it is to stand up for yourself.

I've never had a problem in standing up for someone else -- but me? that was something else.  Many times it's just easier to go with the flow and not say anything.  But there comes a time when you have to stand your ground.  Now I'm not saying to be the polar opposite and fight everyone on everything, but there needs to be a balance.

I'm trying to teach that to my kids.  I am pretty sure I'm getting that point across to my eldest at times.  I say at times, because she's only 8, and has a kind heart, so sometimes she lets people push her around.  But I keep working on that.

Look at the picture and tell me what color stands out to you.  That is the chakra that needs work.  Take time to meditate and work on getting that one stronger.

Card for Saturday/Sunday, August 9-10, 2014

“Queen of Raphael” - Situations: Your heart is your greatest strength! Expect relationships with others to develop to a new level. People: Someone who is wise and kind. A loving and nurturing person with the ability to solve problems before they occur.

I don't know about you, but if you have a person in your life that is like this person -- you are truly blessed.  I know I have a few in my life -- even if I don't get to talk to them on a daily basis, I know if I truly needed them they'd be there for me.

This card is also a representation that your hard work trusting your intuition is paying off.  In the picture you have the sea.. you have dolphins.. you have the moon.  All things that represent intuition on some level.  Of course this person is also has a trident which is representation of Neptune -- which also is a representation of the hidden.  Keep up the good work with this.

To me this card also means that you should also trust your inner guidance when it comes to those you love or care for.  You've been working on that other piece and getting good results and I know in the past you haven't been that great when it came to your intuition and love.. but you've grown from that time and it's now time to trust you can guide yourself fully.

Besides.. we have angels on our side if you need a boost of confidence...

Card for Thursday & Friday, August 7-8, 2014

“Seven of Ariel” - Your seeds are well planted! However, some plans do take time to develop. Now is not the moment to stop, as success is very probable! You may not see it clearly, but slow and steady progress is being made. Have patience. It’s almost time!

This is a great card to have.  I know all about patience.  With 3 kids you kind of have to.  However, that being said, I still have trouble with waiting.  Many times I feel like I've been waiting a long time already.  But there are things you just can't rush.  Growing food/flowers from seeds is one of them.  Nor would you really want to.  Rushing into things can cause more trouble than it's worth.

So take the time to enjoy what's been done so far and then start looking at plans for the future and what you want to do next.  Act like what you've already planted will come springing forth and then write down what's next.

Card for Wednesday, August 6, 2014

“Epiphany” - This card signals that you’re on a quest to discover your true self! Meditation and quiet time provide great insight into the nature of your own heart and your life purpose. This is not a time of loneliness, but of inner joy and exploring your Divine light within.

Boy is this card right for me.  I've been helping out with our Vacation Bible School at our church and I'm really beginning to see where in my life I need to make changes.  One is being able to help others.  Another is to really start looking inward to my development rather than outside sources.  I'm trying to utilize my intuitiveness for all things around me.  Even in finding new things to look at to help me further along.

When my life slows down a bit, I'll work on the meditating.  Right now, meditating would put me to sleep :D

But in the same sense, I can still be that positive light that helps others to shine and I'm really going to work on it.

So take time to breathe and listen to that inner voice that too often we shush.

Card for Tuesday, August 5, 2014

“Solutions” - Archangel Zadkiel is working with you to find the perfect balance! The key to success right now is in moderation and compromise. If you’re feeling stressed-out, this card counsels you to take a deep breath and ask your angels and guides for assistance. Self-control and patience are called for in order to create the successful outcome you’re hoping for.

Look at the beauty of the card.  I love the sunlight hitting angel and highlighting him.  Just the other day we had a mostly cloudy day and the sun was peaking through similar to this and my daughter was like.. look God's shining his love down on us.  Now even though this card says solutions, Zadkiel is known as the angel of mercy.

Take a look at situations in your life .. including what you might be secretly holding on to kicking yourself for.. and let it go.  In order to move on from a situation we often have to let go of those things that are holding us back.. which is usually us.

I know I have a bad habit of going over things that went wrong and what could I have done instead.  Hindsight is 20/20.  But keeping that situation/feelings in the forefront, keeps it alive.  Your mind doesn't know that it's not really here.. so let it go.

If you need assistance in letting a situation go .. then ask for help from Zadkiel.  Michael too can cut the cords.  But no matter how much you ask for the help, if you don't first forgive yourself, nothing they do will help.  So let it go.... God loves us regardless of the mistakes we make.

Card for Monday, August 4, 2014

“King of Raphael” - Situations: Yes, it is safe to trust! You have the ability to accomplish great things at this time. People: A warm and generous person who understands human nature. Someone who takes romantic relationships and close friendships very seriously.

Time to take a page out of the book of the person that does for others.  Lately we've been focusing on ourselves.  Now it's time to help others.  In doing so you might actually find a wise person that gives advice from the heart.  That advice will ultimately help you.

I know I have been laid up being overly tired and it's just hard with 3 kids to get energy to do the things you're supposed to do let alone give more to help others.  This week is the Vacation Bible School (VBS) at my church.  In the past I've had no problems in helping.  Until my back last year.  So I told myself that I would do my best to get all 3 kids to VBS as well as help where they needed me.

Last night was the start.  You would think it would be easy.  My eldest takes the middle one to the church while I bring up the rear (really slowly) with the youngest.  I was trying to get her to use her walker as much as possible.  So I finally get upstairs, get the kids signed in, but no sign of my other two.  So I walk the youngest in with the hope that someone will watch her while I go searching for the other two.  When all of a sudden the eldest pops up and I ask where the other one was and she's like "he ran away from me".  Which is very possible with him.  So I have her sitting with the youngest and go running around the church trying to find him.  I even enlist another person.  I seriously was getting worried.  Finally I decided to look on the top floor and as I was heading there, here he was coming down with a nice woman from church and her daughter.

Try telling a 4 year old why it's important to stay with his sister.  Just glad everything turned out alright.

So late night for us.. we got home and the kids in bed by 9:30.  I unfortunately was achy from running around.  So I think I finally drifted off around midnight.  Then between tossing and turning I just couldn't get up.  I'm extremely sore in my back, arms, and legs.  I still have the rest of this week to go....

What's nice is .. I've missed these people.  It felt good finally helping again.

Card for Friday, August 1, 2014

Is your life difficult or easy these days? One of the determining factors is your beliefs, (if you believe that!). What you believe about life and how you perceive it can be part of what makes your life easy or hard.

Beliefs are thoughts and ideas that we choose to see as true. Beliefs are based on what we hear, see, and what we’ve experienced. Beliefs are often formed by the influences of our family, friends, society, and what we read and watch.

How do your beliefs affect you? Take the time to look at your beliefs regarding your current thoughts, feelings and circumstances, and see if your beliefs are bringing joy, love and peace into your life. If they aren’t, it may be time to consciously question them or bring them up to date. Examine all your rules, roles, methods and instructions - especially the ones that are related to your current situation. Do they aid in your ability to be accountable, responsible, loving and compassionate to yourself and others?

Examine your current situation based on your beliefs, and write it down.

For instance, let’s say you don’t have a boyfriend/girlfriend. Write down anything that you may believe about yourself, or about your life, that is responsible for creating this situation. Maybe you believe you have a character flaw or you are destined to be alone. Maybe you think you will lose your freedom if you have a committed relationship, or that traditional relationships is an outdated concept. Keep writing about it until you have a strong emotional reaction or a moment of great clarity. This is a signal that you have uncovered your basic beliefs about this topic. With the clarity of your beliefs, you’ll be able to decide if you want to change your beliefs so that you can change your circumstances, thoughts or feelings.

Think about what your truth is. Ask yourself, “Am I just assimilating new concepts from books or people without careful examination? Am I being rigid with concepts that used to benefit me?” Regular self-examination of your beliefs is part of your evolution towards personal growth and maturity. Replace old beliefs with new ones.

You create your world partly based on your beliefs. Perhaps changing your beliefs will change your life, or situation, from difficult to easy!
